Eima Agrimach 2013

The third edition of Eima Agrimach exhibition, dedicated to agricultural mechanization in the Indian subcontinent and organized by FederUnacoma in collaboration with FICCI - Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, was held 5 to 7 December 2013 at the campus of the Indian Institute Agricultural Research IARI Pusa  (New Delhi).

As in previous editions, the event saw the Indian Ministry of Agriculture and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in the role of co-organizers and availed itself of the support of the Emilia -Romagna Region,  the Indian manufacturers AMMA Agency and ICE Agency.

The net exhibition area amounted, in the inner area, at 4,000 smt of which 2,600  in the Indian pavilion structures  and 1,400 s in  the  structures reservated to international exhibitors. The net area in the outdoor area was equal to 11,000 smt, of which 5,000 for exhibition spaces and 6,000 for trial area. Overall, the increase in area compared to last year was 15 %, with the most notable increase in areas dedicated to international exhibitors (+25 %).

270 exhibitors, coming not only from India and Italy , but also from China , South Korea , Japan, Switzerland , Czech Republic, Spain and Turkey , participated in Eima Agrimach , 2013, compared to 246 in 2011.

The Fair has recorded 31,320 visitors (+22 % compared to the 2011 edition ), of which 2,670 came from outside India (+15%).

In terms of internationalization, a major role was played by the ICE Agency , which has led a delegation of 27 players from India, Nepal , Iraq, Indonesia and Thailand.

The conference program at the fair has seen the Friday the organization of a conference, sponsored by the Emilia-Romagna  Region, presenting the results of the evaluation activities carried out by the Punjab Agricultural University on machines donated by Italian companies in March 2013 following live demonstrations, followed by a panel discussion sponsored by ITABIA on the topic of biomass. On Saturday were then organized by FICCI two conferences: one presentation of the Indian scenario and one dedicated to the sector contractors.
