The Federation groups the associations of manufacturers in the field of machinery, equipment and technology for agriculture, gardening and green keeping and related components. Companies represented by the Federation play a key role on the international stage, holding high ranking positions in terms of production capacity, breadth of range and effectiveness in meeting the most various demands of the agricultural and related sectors.Through Feder- Unacoma the Italian mechanisation enterprises are able to dialogue with institutions, promoting innovation, business culture and their presence in national and international markets. In 2025, the Italian production value of tractors and agricultural machinery stood at € 9.8 billion together with the production value of components and garden equipment of € 3.5 billion and € 980 million respectively. Assoidrotech Represents the manufacturers of systems, machinery and technologies for irrigation in agriculture and gardening. Assomao Represents the manufacturers of implements for: tilling, seeding, transplanting, fertilizing, crop protection, harvesting, first processing after harvesting, livestock raising and handling and transport. Assomase Groups the manufacturers of self-propelled machines (all agricultural machinery with one or more axles and powered by an engine, other than tractors). Assotrattori Groups the manufacturers of tractors. Comacomp Groups the manufacturers of: mechanical components, hydraulic components, electric-electronic components, miscellaneous components, irrigation and spraying components. Comagarden Groups the manufacturers of garden machinery. FederUnacoma organises a range of high profile international events in the field of promotion and trade exhibitions: EIMA International (International Agricultural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition) in Bologna, a biennial event showing the world best production with around 1,750 exhibitors from almost 50 countries and a total number of 60,000 model on display in 2024 and over 346,000 attendees; Agrilevante, an international exhibition of technologies, held biennially in Bari and focused on markets and products of the Mediterranean area; EIMA Show, a dynamic exhibition with field trials organised both in Italy and abroad; EIMA Agrimach (International Exhibition of Agri-Machinery & Equipment), which is held biennially in India and offers mechanisation companies an opportunity to approach directly an increasingly important market such as that one of the Indian subcontinent. In addition, FederUnacoma, working in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency and with trade fair organizations in different countries, also organises a large number of the Italian exhibiting areas at the main foreign sectoral events.
