New FederUnacoma Leadership

23.06.2026
The FederUnacoma annual meeting, held yesterday afternoon in Varignana (BO), included on its agenda the election of some of the Federation’s representative bodies.

As provided for in the Statute the election regarded the thirty-one board members from the seven associations that make up the Federation (Agridigital, Assoidrotech, Assomao, Assomase, Assotrattori, Comacomp, and Comagarden), as well as the seven so-called “cross-cutting” council members—that is, those not nominated by individual associations but by the entire FederUnacoma membership base—who will serve on the General Council. All elected representatives will serve until 2028. The members of the Board of Arbitrators were also elected during the assembly, and the Auditors—who represent the Federation’s oversight bodies—were confirmed. The presidents and vice presidents of the individual associations were not elected in this round; according to the Statute, their terms are staggered relative to those of the council members, and they will therefore be elected in June of next year.

Agricultural Machinery: Italian Sales on the Rise in 2025

The resilience of the domestic market offsets the decline in exports, driving the production of the Italian agromachinery industry, which closes out 2025 with a total value of 14.3 billion euros (+2.1%). Looking at the various production sectors, growth is seen in components, spare parts, and tractor parts, as well as in gardening machinery and equipment; conversely, sales of tractors and other agricultural machinery are down. The decline in exports, due primarily to U.S. tariff policies, does not compromise the trade surplus.

Tractors: Market grows in India, while in the U.S. it continues to decline

Global tractor sales rose in the first four months of the year, reaching 512,000 units. The sector’s performance was driven by India, which continues to set record pace. Traditional markets showed mixed results: the U.S., Canada, and Brazil slowed, Europe held steady, and Turkey saw a sharp decline. A key factor is the stability of the agreement between the United States and Iran.
